Chris Capel - Dorito's Crash the Super Bowl Top 5 Finalist Teams up with U-Lace Sneaker Customizing Laces to produce break-out U-Lace commercial.
PRLog - Mar. 3, 2014 - ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- U-Lace Sneaker Customizing Laces announces the release of its new TV-ready commercial spot produced by 2014 'Dorito's Crash the Super Bowl' Ad Contest Top-5 finalist Chris Capel.

Capel, who produced the spot 'Office Thief' for the 'Dorito's Crash the SuperBowl' Ad Contest has garnered well over 1,196,936 views of 'Office Thief' and continues to build a huge fan base.  Capel did not let his loss in the Dorito's contest slow him down, instead he stepped straight from the plane returning him back to LA from the Super Bowl in NYC and right into the U-Lace project.

"Office Thief instantly became my daily dose of funny," said U-Lace founder and CEO Tim Talley‎.  "I immediately knew that I wanted to convince Chris to produce a spot for U-Lace.  Through our network of contacts we connected with Chris, who we found had an equal affinity for the U-Lace product.  In the end, a great global brand - U-Lace - and a great creative talent - Chris Capel - came together to produce an awesome video titled 'The Airport'. http://www.u-lace.com/the-movie/

'The Airport' highlights a story recounted to Capel by Talley of the day he showed up for an open casting call for Shark Tank on May 11th 2013 in Philadelphia.  When Talley walked through the crowd of other aspiring entrepreneurs almost everyone he passed looked down at his feet and marveled at the "really cool" laces in his sneakers. They were of course his product, U-Laces.

U-Lace‎ will be featured on the March 7th episode of Shark Tank on ABC Television and the new Capel-produced spot will initially be featured on the new U-Lace website launching on Monday March 3rd in advance of the airing of the Shark Tank episode.
