GlycoMimetics, Inc. today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 7,000,000 shares of common stock at a price to the public of $8.00 per share. The shares are scheduled to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market under the ticker symbol "GLYC" on January 10, 2014. All of the common stock is being offered by GlycoMimetics. In addition, GlycoMimetics has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,050,000 additional shares of common stock from GlycoMimetics. The offering is expected to close on January 15, 2014, subject to customary closing conditions.

Jefferies LLC and Barclays Capital Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Stifel is acting as co-lead manager and Canaccord Genuity Inc. is acting as co-manager.
