Despite the widened competition, TSMC garnered nine nominations from the 34 categories; Hang Seng Bank and PetroChina Company were each short-listed eight times.
Nominees and winners are determined by combining the results of two key surveys: IR magazine's annual investor perception study, the world's largest survey its kind, covering more than 5,000 analysts and investors; and an independent survey of buy-side and sell-side analysts and portfolio managers, conducted by Thomson Reuters Extel Surveys. The 2010 winners will be announced at a prestigious event at the Conrad Hong Kong, on Thursday, December 9, 2010. Leading companies will be recognized in categories including best investor relations professional, best governance and disclosure, and best investment meetings.
