Miners, retailers lead FTSE down, financials support

LONDON, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Britain's top shares fell on Wednesday, as downbeat earnings news weighed on Cobham and Next , while falling miners outpaced gains in financials as car insurer Admiral met analysts' expectations.
