Tradeshift , which aims to become the "Skype for invoicing", has pulled in two new significant angel investors: former MySQL CEO Mårten Mickos and founding investor in LastFM Stefan Glaenzer. Tradeshift is working on what it positions as the world's first free invoicing platform, news which we broke on its launch in February. We are also hearing from sources that a couple of European VCs are negotiating to go in on a $80-100 million valuation. Right now Tradeshift has entered closed beta stage with its free invoicing platform and is aiming at an open beta in the next month or so. It also says it's been testing the platform with "several very large enterprise customers" which have access to 50,000 companies globally. These will be invited to join Tradeshift to connect to their larger business partners via the platform. Among these is TDC, the largest Telco in Denmark with suppliers all across Europe.
