Tractor Supply’s 4-H Spring Paper Clover Fundraiser Has Sprung

Biannual event raises funds to support local 4-H members in pursuing lifechanging learning opportunities; fundraiser has generated more than $20 million since 2010

Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO), in partnership with National 4-H Council, announced today the launch of the spring Paper Clover fundraiser, a biannual event that generates millions of dollars in scholarships for 4-H youth. The fundraiser, now in its 14th year, is designed to help strengthen educational programs and enable 4-H members to engage in hands-on projects, receive guidance from adult mentors and develop the skills necessary to take on proactive leadership roles.

From April 24 through May 5, customers can purchase a paper clover at checkout in Tractor Supply stores nationwide or online at TractorSupply.com. Ninety percent of all donations will directly support 4-H youth in the state in which they were made, while the remaining 10% will support national 4-H programming.

“Paper Clover fundraisers have been a consistent fixture at Tractor Supply for more than a decade because the dollars we raise make a real and impactful difference for thousands of young people,” said John Ordus, chief stores officer at Tractor Supply and member of the National 4-H Council board of trustees. “Whether it’s providing an opportunity to attend the national 4-H conference or to spend the summer at one of the organization’s legendary camps, these experiences can truly change the trajectory of a young person’s life. We are proud to play a small part in helping them become true leaders in their lives, careers and communities.”

For more than 100 years, 4-H has empowered young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime. Its research-based programming includes activities in the areas of health, science, agriculture and civic engagement, and the guidance and life-long skills necessary to succeed in college and career. Kids experience 4‑H in every county and parish in the country through in-school and after-school programs, school and community clubs and 4‑H camps.

Tractor Supply began partnering with 4-H in 2010 to support the next generation of leaders across the U.S. Together, they have raised more than $20 million through the Paper Clover campaign, impacting more than 80,000 young people.
