Metronet Debuts Symmetrical, Multi-Gigabit Speeds Up to 10 Gigabits in Indiana Communities

Noblesville and Northeast Indianapolis Among First with Access in Indiana

Metronet today announced that residents and businesses in the Indiana communities of Noblesville and Northeast Indianapolis are among the first in the state to have access to faster internet with Metronet’s ultra-high-speed multi-gigabit service. In addition to Metronet’s current offerings of 1 gigabit per second, speeds up to 2 gigabits are now available for residents; businesses may choose speeds up to 10 gigabits. With access to Metronet’s multi-gigabit symmetrical upload and download speeds, customers will experience higher-quality video conferencing, streaming, gaming and online learning.

The updates to multi-gigabit speeds were made with no disruption to the current Noblesville and Northeast Indianapolis infrastructure. Those interested in upgrading to Metronet’s multi-gigabit speeds may call Customer Care at 1-855-977-4609.

“As our service areas throughout Noblesville and Northeast Indianapolis gain access to Metronet’s multi-gigabit speeds, both communities will experience next-level internet reliability and quality,” said Mike Cannon, Metronet Regional Sales Manager. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact that our symmetrical, multi-gigabit speeds have in the lives of residents and businesses as ultra-high-speed internet becomes increasingly more important in the online world.”

In the coming months, more communities throughout Metronet’s 16-state service area will join Noblesville and Northeast Indianapolis with access to multi-gigabit speeds. Those interested in upgrading may visit metronet.com to be notified once their address is available for upgraded internet speeds.

City officials interested in adding their community to Metronet’s growing list of “Certified Gigabit Cities Powered by Metronet” may visit metronet.com/gigabit-city or contact Eddie Massengale, Metronet Sr. Director of Business Development & Government Affairs at Eddie.Massengale@metronetinc.com or at 423-280-9031.
