The program highlights third-party logistics companies (3PLs), freight brokers, motor carriers, rail/intermodal and maritime companies (ocean carriers and port authorities) that excel in capabilities and service to food shippers. After a preliminary list was named by FSA, nearly 6,000 participants in the food industry voted for organizations with the strongest reputations and value. Companies who earned the most votes were then validated by FSA, which determined the final list of 25.
