Equilar Announces New Data Feeds Providing Next-Gen ESG Data Through FactSet
Equilar, the leading provider of corporate leadership data solutions, announced today that it has established three new data feeds, including corporate leadership and relationship data, on the Open:FactSet Marketplace. The Open:FactSet Marketplace provides FactSet’s clients with the leading available data and leverages the company’s expertise in data integration to offer datasets that can be easily connected with proprietary models, algorithms and systems.
The Equilar data feeds provide a 360 degree view of C-suite executives and board members, including People Business Intelligence, Equity and Compensation, and Executive and Director Relationships:
- Career history covering public, private and non-profit companies
- Network connections and relationship strength
- Ethnic and gender demographics
- Executive compensation and incentive metrics
- Equity transactions and “money in motion” liquidity events
Collectively, this represents the next generation of ESG (Executive, Social and Governance) data, reflecting the performance and effectiveness of corporate leadership.
“Demand for ESG data continues to increase,” said David Chun, Founder and CEO of Equilar. “Investors can go beyond fundamental data with an in-depth review of the track record of individual executives and board members. With our industry-leading executive compensation, incentive plan and diversity databases, investors can better understand what drives behavior and decision making. We are thrilled to be working with FactSet to introduce corporate leadership, human capital and ESG data feeds to our shared clients. Our data feeds with FactSet will enable clients to centralize critical business intelligence to maximize performance and returns.”
“Equilar is a great addition to the Open:FactSet Marketplace and our human capital data initiatives,” said Lauren Stevens, Senior Vice President, Open:FactSet Strategy, FactSet. “Investment managers and global corporations now look to ‘people data’ to provide granular workforce views and help uncover trends.”
