(b) On
September 7, 2010, Stephen K. Workman, Senior Vice President,
Corporate Development and
Investor Relations of Finisar Corporation (the “Company”), announced his resignation from the
Company to be effective on or about September 24, 2010. Mr. Workman, who has served in that
capacity since March 2010 and who had previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer, will join an early-stage company engaged in the development and sale of
LED-based lighting products.
