Kansas City Southern (the “Company”, “KCS”) is furnishing under Item 2.02 of this Current Report on Form 8-K, the information included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report. Exhibit 99.1 is the Company’s press release, dated July 30, 2009, announcing the Company’s quarter and year to date ending June 30, 2009 operating results. Included in Exhibit 99.1 are schedules regarding certain financial information discussed during the Company’s quarter and year to date ending June 30, 2009 analyst presentation and conference call.
