(b) On
January 15, 2009, Mr. Alan L. Wilder, Senior Vice President – Project
Development of Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation (the “Company”),
retired from the Company. As previously scheduled, Mr. Wilder’s retirement
from the Company coincides with the expiration of his current employment
agreement. The Company intends to retain Mr. Wilder as a consultant on certain
project development matters, including the completion of the Company’s
Palmarejo mine.
