                     Two Investment Conferences in September

OVERLAND  PARK,  KAN.,  September  14, 2005 --  Applebee's  International,  Inc.
(Nasdaq:APPB) will be presenting at two investment conferences during September.
The dates and times of the presentations are as follows:
