Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 18, 2017, Astronics Corporation issued a news release announcing that its Board of Directors has approved a share repurchase program. Under the program, Astronics Corporation is authorized to repurchase in the aggregate $50 million of its outstanding common stock. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
