On February 22, 2017, Employers Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2016. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference, and is being furnished, not filed, under Item 2.02 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

Item 8.01. Other Events.
On February 22, 2017, the Company announced that its Board of Directors declared a first quarter 2017 cash dividend of fifteen cents per share on the Company’s common stock. The dividend is payable on March 22, 2017 to stockholders of record as of March 8, 2017.
