(b) On January 7, 2008 Kirkland's Inc. ("the Company") announced that Catherine David, the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, has resigned effective immediately. Robert Alderson, Kirkland’s Chief Executive Officer, will assume Ms. David’s responsibilities, and the Company does not currently intend to seek a replacement. In accordance with her employment agreement Ms. David will be entitled to salary continuation for a one-year period.
