On April 7, 2010, we issued a press release entitled “BRE Properties Announces Closing of Common Stock Offering” announcing the closing of our previously disclosed public offering of 8,050,000 shares of our common stock, including the exercise in full of the underwriters’ over-allotment option for 1,050,000 shares on April 1, 2010, at a price of $34.25 per share. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
