Item 8.01. Other Information.

On January 12, 2010, BioDelivery Sciences International, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it had been granted a meeting on March 17, 2010 with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) to discuss the planned Investigational New Drug (IND) application for BDSI’s antiemetic (anti-nausea and vomiting) product candidate, BEMA Granisetron. A copy of such press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
