Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On May 23, 2005, Insmed Incorporated (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that on May 20, 2005 the High Court of Justice (Chancery Division, Patents Court) in London issued rulings on motions filed by the Company in the patent infringement case brought by Tercica, Inc. against the Company and its supplier, Avecia Ltd. and in a related patent revocation action brought by Insmed and Avecia against Genentech, Inc. The Company’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
