BANCOLOMBIA S.A. ANNOUNCES SANCTION BY THE SUPERINTENDENCIA FINANCIERA DE COLOMBIA
 
Medellín, Colombia, May 27, 2011
 
Bancolombia announces that the Financial Superintendence of Colombia has fined the Bank COP 100.000.000 pursuant to Resolution 0750 of May 13, 2011, notified to the Bank on May 25,. According to the superintendence, the fine is due to a violation of article 437 of the Code of Commerce and article 61,8 of the previous Bylaws of the Bank.
 
Bancolombia will take all available legal actions relating to this decision.
