Item 8.01 Other Events
On October 26, 2004, Steel Dynamics, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors approved a new stock repurchase program and also approved an increase in the company’s dividend rate. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
