On March 12, 2019, Robert W. Selander advised The Western Union Company (the “Company”) that he intends to retire as a director of the Company and not stand for re-election at the Company’s 2019 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr. Selander’s decision not to stand for re-election was personal and not the result of any disagreement with the Company or the Company’s Board of Directors.
