Item 5.02

Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

 

On July 14, 2008, Pat Winters, the Principal Accounting Officer of Appliance Recycling Centers of America, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company that he will be leaving the Company in August to pursue other career opportunities.

 

Peter P. Hausback, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, will assume the additional role of principal accounting officer upon Mr. Winter’s resignation.
