The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (587-487-1249) has made several recent updates to its training programs, which help students to achieve certification in popular Medspa procedures. The new courses combine comprehensive online schooling with hands-on training at the academy.
Laval, Canada - June 26, 2023 —
The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy has updated several courses to make them more accessible, by allowing students to complete most of the classroom education they require from their own homes, or anywhere with an internet connection.
More information about Medspa certification courses, the full list of procedures taught at the Dermysk Academy, and registration information can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy
While each of the new courses does still require hands-on training, the Dermysk Academy has rebuilt each of its courses so that students can complete their certification with no more than 1 to 2 weeks spent at the Academy, completing the practical portion of the class. Students can complete the online portion of their education at any time, working at their own pace, before scheduling their hands-on training with a Dermysk specialist.
During the practical portion of the course, students will work closely with instructors to gain experience handling medical aesthetic tools, dealing with clients, and completing actual Medspa procedures. Students will be able to gain certification in up to a dozen medical aesthetic procedures in the Basics course, and after graduation, may choose to continue their education with the Advanced program.
The Dermysk Academy has also updated its Master-level training program, which is a unique course that combines all the content taught in both the Basic and Advanced programs, with exclusive training that is not available elsewhere. While this Master-course has no official prerequisites, the Dermysk team reserves the right to limit students to only the most dedicated and certain prospects.
Completion of any course from the Dermysk Academy includes all the training, experience, and certifications required to begin working in the field of medical aesthetics. Each course also includes information about how to deal with troublesome clients, what to do if something goes wrong, and how to run a successful Medspa business.
While the Dermysk Academy also teaches courses on injectable cosmetics, these classes are restricted to licensed physicians and nurses. However, students of the Basic, Advanced, or Master level courses can gain their certification in laser hair and tattoo removal, acne treatments, radiofrequency rejuvenation, CoolSculpting, and a dozen other popular medical aesthetic procedures.
One recent graduate explained, “I took this course while still working full-time as an LPN. The hours were extremely flexible, and the workload manageable. All the instructors were incredibly knowledgeable & approachable, always reaching out to make sure I was comfortable & confident in my understanding of everything.”
