Thrive Pest Control Now Offers Sentricon For Termite Control

Oklahoma-based pest control service, Thrive Pest Control, has introduced the use of Sentricon systems as part of its termite control solutions. More effective than relying on liquid treatment systems alone, this solution can eradicate entire colonies.

United States - June 21, 2023

Thrive Pest Control, working out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, has recently announced the improvement of its termite control services. This is thanks to the recent approval they have received to offer Sentricon to all of their customers. An effective means of eradicating termites from the home, Thrive recommends this solution for termite infestations of all sizes.

The Sentricon system is a stand-alone solution that offers complete protection against termites. Liquid treatments, like other insecticides, kill on contact and act as barriers. However, they’re less effective against termites. It’s only likely to come into contact with only a fraction of the thousands of termites that live in each colony. The queen and her brood don’t move from the center of the colony, meaning they are never likely to come into contact with liquid treatments. Other termites can bypass the barrier, burrowing under and around it to get into the customer’s home and garden regardless.

Thrive Pest Control uses the Sentricon system to attack the center of the colony itself. They can now install Sentricon bait systems around the area surrounding the home, with above-ground bait systems that can be left in the home, specifically at spots where termites have appeared before. The bait inside these systems contains an ingredient that prevents termites from molting. Termites cannot survive without molting. As such, worker termites take the bait food back to the heart of the colony, ensuring that this molt-preventing ingredient is spread throughout the entire colony, hitting the younger termites first and working its way up the generations until the entire colony is wiped out.

After placing and monitoring the eradication of termites on and around the property, Thrive Pest can leave the Sentricon systems behind, with bait to top up, so that customers can prevent further colonies from growing under the home and garden.

A locally owned and operated business, Thrive Pest Control offers results guaranteed and is fully licensed and insured to work throughout the state of Oklahoma. In most cases, they can offer same-day service, and provide free estimates with no obligation to make it easy for any customer to access the pest control services they need. Aside from termites, they have experience in providing services to banish ants, bed bugs, spiders, mosquitoes, silverfish, fleas, wasps, mice, scorpions, and more from the home.
