The Good Farm Shop Confirm Focus On Ready-Meals

In an exclusive interview with Eleven Media, The Good Farm Shop confirmed their recent move to focus the company’s growth on expanding the ready-meal aspect of their business.

Sydney, Australia - March 12, 2023 /PressCable/

The Good Farm Shop started as an online butchery from small regenerative farms, delivering nutrient-dense beef, lamb, chicken and pork to people’s doorsteps. Their passion has always been about food provenance, land ecology and quality of life for animals.

Like most businesses, they have evolved. In January 2022, they pivoted their core business to be more aligned with its market forces. After 18 months of operating as a online conscious butcher, made the decision to streamline their operation and focus on expanding their ready-meals, part of the business.

Scott Gooding, co-founder of The Good Farm Shop with Matilda Brown, said this when interviewed by Eleven Media, “We simply listened to our customers who are excited by our ready meals, and the sales of which were beginning to eclipse the online meat sales, so it wasn’t a particularly difficult decision to make to transition to be a ready-meal only business, one which can hang its hat on integrity and a commitment to the environment”

“The world doesn’t need another ready-meal business, they are dime a dozen, but we feel consumers are increasingly looking to purchase conscious food, which doesn’t burden the planet, rather can actually benefit the environment and soil health. Which is the promise made by The Good Farm Shop and we never cut corners” said Scott.

Scott is well known for his time on My Kitchen Rules, and his passion for nutrition. “As a family, we have always celebrated food, and nothing brings us more joy than hosting lunches and dinners for family and friends, having great conversations around a table filled with delicious and nourish produce.

Eleven Media discovered in their interview that the founders passion of health and nutrient-dense food, that’s not only good for the customer, but the planet, is at the heart and focus of their business. Their love for cooking delicious hearty meals means customers get to enjoy their recipes while knowing they are always putting their health first.

The Good Farm Shop meals are 100% gluten free, using organic ingredients whenever possible and 100% pasture-raised regeneratively farmed animal produce. No preservatives, fillers or nasty oils. Only good stuff is put into their meals.

“We never have, and never will, cut corners. Our animal produce is still from small family owned farms that prioritise the land, and have a high standard of care for their animals. They are 100% pasture raised, and even processed on the farms, avoiding the stress of the abattoir. Our meals use mostly organic ingredients. The only exception is if we simply can’t get our hands on it.” Said Scott

“We get that life is busy, that’s why ready-meals are so convenient. But they shouldn’t come at a cost to the environment. We hunted far and wide for home compostable packaging that is oven-proof, freezer-proof, microwave safe and aesthetically pleasing. And guess what? We found it!”.
