The NSW Aboriginal Archaeology Forum 2022 was a one day event held on Friday 26th August 2022. The event included presentations from individuals and panel discussions on a range of areas important to community archaeology.

Dr Elizabeth Bonshek, Senior Heritage Consultant at Artefact Heritage said this when interviewed by Eleven Media, “The Aboriginal Archaeology Forum provided an opportunity to discuss many issues important for Aboriginal cultural heritage from the perspective of Aboriginal people, consultants, academics, and the regulator. With case studies informing a number of papers, it was great to see and participate in a forum that brought together people focused on listening and learning to enhance and improve current procedures but also think about and explore areas we could improve.”
