Introducing BNP Candidate Barrister Kayser Kamal

Ramna, Dhaka, Bangladesh - August 26, 2022 /MarketersMEDIA/

Barrister Kayser Kamal was born in a beautiful village called Chatrangpur of Kalmakanda upzila in Netrokona District, which is the northeastern part of Bangladesh. His father was local Government Chairman for a period of time. My father inherited a large amount of cultivated land in the locality, and that was the main source of income for their family. He started his primary education at the Chatrangpur Primary School.” After then, his Father sent me to one of the best schools in Mymensingh Division, which was established in the British era called “Mymensingh Zilla School,” from where he completed his Secondary School Certificate in the year of 1987. He completed his Higher Secondary Certificate examination in 1989 from Ananda Mohon University College, Mymensingh.

Due to his remarkable results, He was awarded a Government scholarship to pursue an undergraduate program. Subsequently, he was admitted to the University of Dhaka, where he completed a B.A(Hon’s) and MA in History. It was his long-cherished desire to become a Barrister, and so I moved to the United Kingdom back in 1998 to pursue a Law Degree. He studied at the University of Wolverhampton and completed his LL.B (Hon’s) degree with Higher Second class. Subsequently, he completed Bar Vocational Course at the College of Law of England and Wales, presently known as the University of Law. Eventually, he was awarded Barrister-at-Law from the Honorable Society of Lincolns Inn in 2005.

Upon completing his study in the UK, he returned to Bangladesh and started Law practice while familiarising himself with socio-political activities in his home. Being a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, he has represented several high-profile individuals like the former Prime Minister and Chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman of BNP, Mr. Tarique Rahman

On some level, Barrister Kayser Kamal started his political career from his days as a student. His first ever political affiliation was with the Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chatrodal-JCD (a student wing of BNP). Subsequently, he has held many positions and became a central executive Member of the JCD. While he was at the University of Dhaka, he became Senate Member.

There was a period of time when he took a break from politics for a few years while I was in the UK. After completing his Law studies, he returned back to Bangladesh end of 2006.  Since then, he has looked to grow his status as a politician. On 29 December 2007, General Election took place, and he was nominated to become an MP in his Constituency Netrokona-01( Constituent of Kalmakanda-Durgapur Upzilla). Then in 2009, he became a central Executive Member of the National Committee of BNP. Subsequently, he became Legal Affairs Secretary of BNP back in 2016. In the last General Election, which was held in 2018, he obtained a nomination from BNP and participated Parliamentary Election. In 2021 the Foreign Affairs Committee of BNP was formed, and he became a Member of the committee.
