Report: Canadian Pacific readies a new, richer offer to acquire KC Southern

The upgraded offer from Canadian Pacific reportedly isn't as high as what Canadian National has proposed to pay for Kansas City Southern, but it could affect a shareholder vote set for Aug. 19.
