Vision Films and Reel Women's Network Announce Partnership and Upcoming Virtual Event Celebrating Women in Film



LOS ANGELES - August 11, 2020 - (Newswire.com)

Vision Films Inc. (“Vision”) and Reel Women’s Network (“Reel Women”) announced jointly on Tuesday their partnership to release seven films that celebrate females in filmmaking on Reel Women’s VOD platform.  Also announced is a free, online summit featuring the filmmakers and special sneak peeks of four exceptional films highlighting the female voice in filmmaking.

Included in the Reel Women’s Network lineup are: the award-winning environmental documentary from Susan Kucera, Living in the Future’s Past (featuring Jeff Bridges), the important documentary from Joyce Fitzpatrick and Brian Shackelford, The Color of Medicine: The Story of Homer G. Phillips Hospital, which focuses on Black excellence in medicine, the stunning More Beautiful for Having Been Broken from prolific LGBTQ filmmaker Nicole Conn, the fun and fresh summer rom-com from Fiona Mackenzie, Tell Me I Love You, the teen comedy from Ilyssa Goodman The Standoff (with Olivia Holt), the beautiful romantic adventure from Namrata Singh Gujral, 5 Weddings, and the sci-fi documentary from Caroline Cory, E.T. Through a special partnership with Cya Live, four films will be celebrated via the virtual Fearless Female Filmmakers Summit, which is free to the public and will feature a Q&A with filmmakers Nicole Conn, also known for Elena Undone and little man, Fiona Mackenzie, also known for Cosa Bella, Bada Bing Bada Boom, and Deadly Little Secrets, Joyce Fitzpatrick, also known for Hidden Orchard Mysteries: The Case of the Air B and B Robbery, and Susan Kucera, also known for Breath of Life.
