Brain Balance of Denton is a Board Certified Cognitive Center

DENTON, Texas - January 21, 2020 - (Newswire.com)

Brain Balance Achievement Center of Denton, TX, has earned the designation of Board Certified Cognitive Center (BCCC), granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).

The Center has shown their dedication to providing the best possible service to everyone they assist by completing the IBCCES training and certification program, which requires that at least 80% of student-facing staff at each location complete a training and certification program that focuses on working with individuals with a variety of needs, such as anxiety, dyslexia, autism and ADHD. Brain Balance offers a personalized, drug-free program that provides answers to social, emotional, behavioral and academic development. Brain Balance was founded in 2007 and employs a personalized and integrative approach through sensory engagement, physical development, academics and nutrition.

“The Brain Balance of Denton team is excited about what we bring to the children of our community. In a world that has been short on answers for so many families, our Program is designed to uncover the missing pieces and provide solutions,” said Executive Director of Denton, Tammy Tubbs. “By getting to the root of the problem and addressing the causes, we are helping students overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of success. Additionally, each team member in Denton has their own unique story that personalizes the work that we do and drives our passion for helping students and their families.”

In addition, Brain Balance of Denton believes in the importance of investing in community. By working with other professionals, schools, churches, non-profits and other family and student-focused businesses, they strive to create collaborative relationships that enable them to provide unique and powerful opportunities and support to the families in their communities.

“Professional training is incredibly important in our industry, and IBCCES has standardized training and certification that is globally recognized,” said Dr. Rebecca Jackson, Vice President of Programs and Outcomes at Brain Balance Achievement Centers. “We worked closely with the IBCCES team to develop instruction that meets the needs of our more than 100 centers. This new training program will give our team an even greater understanding as they work with students who face challenges with attention and focus, anxiety, learning, socialization and more."

For almost 20 years, IBCCES has been the industry leader in autism training for licensed healthcare professionals and educators around the globe. More parents are seeking out organizations that have completed evidence-based training and professional review as they search for options.

“The BCCC program extends the team’s current knowledge and experience to continue to have a better assist all students,” said Myron Pincomb, IBCCES Board Chairman.
