Chrome River Recognized by the IDC MarketScape as a Leader in SaaS and Cloud-Enabled Enterprise Travel and Expense Management Applications

Chrome River Technologies, Inc., a global leader in expense and invoice automation solutions, has been named a “Leader” in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide SaaS and Cloud-Enabled Enterprise Travel and Expense Management Applications 2019 Vendor Assessment.

Chrome River was positioned as a Leader for large enterprise deployments, based on a thorough review of the solution’s technology capabilities, product features and professional services. IDC analysts also spoke with a number of Chrome River’s customers as part of the assessment process. The IDC MarketScape noted that “Chrome River’s functionality is a good fit for multinational organizations, multi-entity, multiple general ledgers, and multi-language companies,” and also recognized its “focus on user experience” as a strength.

“Chrome River continues to have a major focus on delivering a rich end-user experience, and it has deep capabilities for large global organizations. These factors were key to its position as a Leader in the 2019 IDC MarketScape: Worldwide SaaS and Cloud-Enabled Enterprise Travel and Expense Management Applications,” said Kevin Permenter, research manager at IDC. “Multinational organizations typically have complex requirements in areas such as approval routing and tax handling, and few expense solutions have the capability to truly handle these requirements. Any large or international firm with complex expense management requirements should certainly consider Chrome River when looking for expense technology vendors.”

“When Chrome River was first created more than a decade ago, two of the biggest pain-points that we sought to fix were a poor end-user experience and the lack of solutions that could support the most complex global expense environments. These two elements have been part of our DNA since then,” said Eric White, general manager of Chrome River. “We’re honored that the IDC MarketScape has recognized this commitment to our customers by positioning us as a Leader in this space, as we continue to focus our innovation on delivering the best, most user-friendly solutions for our customers worldwide.”
