Mrs. Neni D. Lesmana, Chairwoman of DWP KJRI Dubai, stated that this show was held to introduce the talents of Indonesian women in Dubai. Therefore, the event was also attended by several members of the International Women's Club, creating a space for the public to get to know batik better.

The batik fashion show involved several batik designers from Indonesia who now reside in Dubai. They showcased their creativity and innovation in designing batik clothing, combining traditional elements with attractive modern touches. In addition, several diaspora boutique owners specializing in women's batik clothing also contributed to this event, enriching the variety and choices of displayed clothing.

The event focused not only on the fashion exhibition but also featured quizzes on the history and origin of batik motifs. The quizzes aimed to provide deeper education to participants about the meanings and philosophies embodied in each batik motif. Thus, the guests were not only entertained but also gained valuable new knowledge about their cultural heritage. The participating designers were Yanti Damayanti, Susie Rewita, Iltafia Ahmad, and Desi Sari Dewi.

Batik is not just a fabric but a symbol of Indonesian identity and pride. Each batik motif holds meaning and stories that reflect the nation's cultural diversity, creativity, and noble values. In this context, the batik fashion show becomes an important medium to foster love and appreciation for local culture amidst a continuously developing society.

By holding this event, the Indonesian Consulate General in Dubai is committed to continuously promoting and introducing batik to the international community and encouraging the younger generation to love and preserve Indonesia's cultural heritage. Through various activities, it is hoped that batik will be increasingly worn in daily activities by Indonesians in Dubai while introducing the rich cultural diversity of the Indonesian nation.

In his remarks, the Indonesian Consul General in Dubai, Denny Lesmana, expressed his appreciation to DWP KJRI Dubai for organizing this event. The Indonesian Consul General in Dubai promised to bring this event to a more prestigious venue by inviting the international women's community in Dubai.
