Literacy Talks Launches Season 6 with the Latest in Research-Based Reading Instruction and Expert Insights

The podcast from Reading Horizons offers fresh perspectives on literacy, learning, and teaching to support educators in eradicating illiteracy.

Reading Horizons is excited to announce the launch of Season 6 of its acclaimed podcast, Literacy Talks. The new season brings in a fresh lineup of engaging and insightful discussions centered around the science of reading, literacy education, and the latest advancements in teaching strategies.

Season 6 of Literacy Talks will feature episodes that delve into critical topics affecting students, educators, and literacy leaders. Each episode will explore diverse issues and innovative solutions through conversations with leading experts, experienced educators, and passionate literacy advocates. Past guests include Dr. Anita Archer, Dr. Matt Burns, Emily Handford, and Dr. Elfrieda Hiebert.

Stacy is also an assistant professor of reading at Southern Utah University, and her co-hosts are Donell Pons, a recognized expert and advocate in literacy, dyslexia, and special education, and Lindsay Kemeny, an elementary classroom teacher, author, and speaker. Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives provide unique insights into classroom practices, teacher preparation, and adult education.
