Emerson to lead firm’s newly established office in Washington, D.C.

AE Industrial Partners, LP (“AEI”), a private equity firm specializing in Aerospace, National Security, and Industrial Services, announced today that Chris Emerson has transitioned from Operating Partner to Senior Partner. The firm also announced that Emerson will head up a new office in Washington, D.C., projected to open in the 3^rd quarter of 2024.

Emerson, who joined AEI in 2022, has more than 25 years of diverse international experience across the defense, space, and commercial aviation markets. He previously served as Chairman & CEO of Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc., where he developed and executed a strategy to grow Airbus’ U.S. space business. He also served as President of Airbus Helicopters, Inc., and was Senior Vice President of Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse, France.
