“I’m excited to join the talented professionals advancing research at NDRI,” says Malecki. “It’s exciting to help our partners fulfill their research needs in all sectors of research - government, corporate, academic, both domestically and internationally.”

Malecki joins NDRI with over 30 years of experience in finance and operations. His leadership positions span the retail, government, pharmaceutical, and nonprofit sectors. Prior to joining NDRI, Malecki served as the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer at the Utility Emergency Services Fund (UESF), a Philadelphia based nonprofit dedicated to assisting families facing difficulties finding stable housing. Malecki started his career with the Arthur Andersen organization, an accounting firm based out of Chicago.

Malecki holds an MBA in Accounting from LaSalle University in Philadelphia and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Albright College. He has served on various nonprofit boards, including the Board of Trustees for The Woodlynde School and the Country Club Swim Association. He has also served on the MBA Advisory Committee and taught as an Adjunct Professor at LaSalle University School of Business.

“We are thrilled to have Tom as a member of our management team at NDRI,” says Bill Leinweber, President and CEO of NDRI. “His experience will add great value to financial and critical administrative functions of information technology and human resources.”
