Two authentic American brands join together to create a sustainably crafted wood sandal

Following the launch of an incredibly successful collaboration in Spring of 2020, Kate Spade New York and Dr. Scholl’s Shoes will debut a second capsule collection on May 1, 2021.

With this two-style capsule, the Dr. Scholl’s Shoes Original Sandal gets a Kate Spade New York twist, adding feminine and playful color and print to the classic silhouette. Again, marrying eco-conscious elements with timeless design, the collaboration’s Original Sandals integrate recognizable details from both of the brands, including heart screws and the iconic Dr. Scholl’s buckle closure. Featuring signature Kate Spade New York design details, the two-piece capsule includes the Original Sandal in a vibrant pink suede and in a white leather with black polka dots.

The collection was thoughtfully made using sustainable practices and materials. The chrome-free suede and leather used were sourced through Leather Working Group approved factories, and the soft fabric lining is made from recycled plastic bottles. Additionally, the iconic wood platform of the sandals is made of natural beechwood certified by The Forest Stewardship Council with plant-based corn starch outsoles.

The sandals will retail for $100 and $130 and will be available at DrSchollsShoes.com and KateSpade.com beginning in May 2021.
