Jean-Michel Ribiéras Appointed to U.S.-Brazil CEO Forum

Sylvamo (NYSE: SLVM), the world’s paper company, is proud to announce Jean-Michel Ribiéras, chairman and chief executive officer, has been appointed to the U.S.-Brazil CEO Forum by the United States Department of Commerce.

Ribiéras joins chief executives of U.S. and Brazilian companies who develop joint policy recommendations to the U.S. and Brazilian governments to increase bilateral trade and commerce.

“Our Brazilian and North American businesses are critical components of our vision to be the world’s paper company – the employer, supplier and investment of choice,” Ribiéras said. “I have lived and worked in both countries, and I look forward to working with the forum to increase trade and investment.”

Ribiéras’ 35-year paper and packaging career spans three continents and multiple businesses with numerous senior leadership roles.

Sylvamo has paper mills in both countries and produces papers that people depend on for education, communication and entertainment.
