About the Author
Misti Lyles has been a public-school teacher for over thirty-five years. When Misti was a young child, reading was a struggle because of dyslexia. As a teacher, she was able to help many children become better readers and find their learning strengths. She believes that learning how to overcome difficulties is how God prepares people to help others. The harder you have to work for something, the more value you find it has.
Reading did not come easy to Misti until after college. She was so determined to become a better reader that she set a goal of reading through the Bible, and she reached that goal many times over. Misti now loves reading. She lives in Oklahoma with her husband. She has four adult children and eight precious grandchildren. She finds that life’s best moments are those spent with her family.
