ORLANDO, FL, January 19, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- DL Harkins Construction LLC (DLHC) has just been awarded a contract for construction of a 4,400-square-foot Gyu-Kaku restaurant just west of the Disney World resort.
The new restaurant will be located at the Disney-owned Flamingo Crossing Town Center, a master-planned shopping center development just outside the gates of Disney World. Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ has over 700 locations globally and, when completed, the Flamingo Crossings restaurant will be the second Orlando location for the popular brand. Construction will start in early February with completion slated for July 2022.
"Meaning "Horn of the Bull" in Japanese, Gyu-Kaku provides an authentic grilled barbecue dining experience where customers can share meat barbecued over a flaming roaster at their table," says DLHC president, Matt Harkins. "This unique restaurant concept will feature 32 roasters for patrons; the roasters have a unique down-draft system to pull smoke away from guests."
