On April 27, 2010, India Globalization Capital, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company has signed a 5 year contract with a Chinese steel manufacturer to begin supplying iron ore. The contract is valued at approximately $160 million. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
