SECTION 7 - REGULATION FD
ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE.
On June 1, 2007, Gastar Exploration Ltd. ("Gastar") announced that it
had drilled the Donelson #3 well in Leon County, Texas to a total depth of
19,200 feet. Gastar is in the process of installing production casing to total
depth and will begin initial completion and testing. Initial completion
activities are expected to take approximately 30 days.
This press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is being furnished
solely pursuant to Item 7.01 of this report.
